Artist Biography:
My name is Moises Garcia. I was born and raised in Socorro, TX. From a young age I've been making different forms of art and with time realized that this was what I wanted to do for a living. My first teacher was my father who is one of the best craftsmen I know. As he realized that I had a love for the arts he supported and pushed me in that direction. In time I got a Degree from UTEP with a major in Graphic Design and minor in Drawing.
I love and enjoy making all forms of art. I have been making a living as a full time
Artist and Draftsman for the past 17 years. My work includes design, drafting and 3d modeling for a local jewelry manufacturer.
I make fine art in all mediums as well as graphic design work. I design different types of merchandise which is carried at different galleries and souvenir shops.
I also enjoy teaching group and private art classes.
I have consistently been part of many local and out of state art exhibitions. I've had several solo shows and am very grateful to have received “ El Paso’s Artist of the year Award ” for 2019, 2021 & 2022.
My hobby became my passion and my passion became my job and I continue to push and challenge myself artistically every day.
